The Sugarbird bird was born in 2007, somewhere over the rainbow… and continues to this day, and beyond.

Sugarbird – House of Sugarbrands is a multibrand fashion concept encompassing several brands—not just one—with distinct yet combinable stylistic features. We have our own brands, as well as guest brands that change annually and are always World licenses, such as Walt Disney Company, Warner Brothers, DC Comics, Fox Studios, the Coca-Cola label, and Frida Kahlo. We would also highlight one of our Hungarian licensing partnerships, the Zsolnay Porcelain Manufactory.

Every collection is designed, printed, and produced in Hungary by the Sugarbird LAB team. What makes the brands special is that each one features the Sugarbird bird icon in some form. Our collections are consistently characterized by bold graphic designs, sublimation-friendly fabric choices, striking colors, and eye-catching combinations.

The Sugarbird attitude: More is More!

Our own brands:

Czukormadár Hungarian Heritage

The Czukormadár brand reinterprets elements and motifs found exclusively in Hungarian folk art, based on adaptations recognized by UNESCO and now part of the world heritage. The brand features heritage styles including Matyó, Kalocsa Richelieu, Transylvanian Kalotaszeg, and blue-dyed collections. These collections are created with the involvement of embroiderers, beaders, and painters from the original regions, preserving the importance of their work and the authenticity of the collections.

Queen and the Gang

The pieces in the iconic Queen and the Gang collections combine a basic aesthetic with graffiti and a cool street style. Chosen by numerous international celebrities.

Vegansugar

The first collection of the newest brand in the House of Sugarbrands was inspired by herbs and vegetables. The thematic Vegan Sugar brand will soon be expanded with another direction.

Sugarbird Budapest

Its main direction and defining feature is that everything revolves around the iconic bird, the brand’s logo.

Our current guest brands:

Frida Kahlo

“If I had to describe the Sugarbird brand in a single word, what would it be? Sugargoods, sugar goods!” – Hedvig Jagasics vitéz Csonka - the brand’s founder and owner.

We believe it is important to draw attention to issues affecting the fashion industry as well: estimates suggest that around 168 million children aged 5–17 worldwide are currently forced to work illegally and in ways harmful to their health, trapping them in a vicious cycle that continually reproduces poverty. They are victims of child labor. Since December 2020, Sugarbird has officially been a committed supporter of UNICEF Hungary.
