Huge success for the latest women’s beer—it sold out within weeks and became the drink of the summer
News broke in June that Sugarbird and MONYO Brewing Co. had launched a limited-edition women’s beer together. Its success is undeniable: the product sold out within weeks, and the pink story has continued to attract considerable attention ever since. We have good news for everyone: the raspberry-coconut refreshing wonder will soon be available again.
Sugarbird prepared many surprises this summer, including the Matyó collection debuting with Edina Kulcsár as its face, as well as its collaboration with the MONYO Brewing Co. brewery. The beer is a so-called “pastry sour ale,” meaning a fruity sour beer with a slightly sweet finish; overall, it could be compared to a spectacular dessert. Plenty of real raspberry purée and coconut were added to the beer, resulting in an exceptionally exciting brew that is suitably crisp and refreshing for summer. If we look back, a Sugarbird party collection was also behind the collaboration, designed by Ádám Baranyi, whose exciting pieces have since become festival-goers’ favorite outfits.
“We didn’t expect to receive so many messages and such positive feedback about the beer. People simply love it. The product sold out in a very short time, but we will definitely continue our collaboration with the MONYO Brewing Co. team, and the beer that debuted this summer will soon be available again on store shelves and at selected hospitality venues. This collaboration was an exciting experience for us as well: although we already have numerous collaborations behind us, nothing of this kind had happened in the brand’s history before. We love the whole story, so we already have countless ideas about how we could take the experience even further. Summer isn’t over yet, and neither are the further surprises. We are still preparing many things for the near future.” said Hedvig Jagasics v. Csonka, founder and owner of Sugarbird.
